Jazz Walk of Fame

A large statue of Louis Armstrong marks the beginning of this amazing Jazz Walk of Fame – made up of lampposts detailing the musicians. Some of them are interactive by dialing 504-613-4062 or the information can be downloaded to an MP3 player from http://www.nps.gov/jazz or on the mobile webpage at http://www.myoncell.mobi/15046134062. Brochures are also available at the visitor center. The tour takes about an hour. Leashed dogs are allowed on the walk,,, they must be cleaned up after promptly.
