Description
Well-behaved, leashed dogs are allowed on these seaplanes. Small dogs can sit on your lap. For larger dogs, you will need to purchase an extra seat. To board the seaplanes, you will need to walk up a step ladder. Since seaplanes are usually noisier inside than large commercial airplanes, the staff or pilot usually hands out earplugs to help keep the noise down. Seaplanes fly lower than commercial airliners and therefore you are able to see a lot more sights than if you where flying at over at 30,000 feet. They offer many scheduled flight routes to or from Seattle including the San Juan Islands, Oak Harbor, Victoria and Vancouver. Or you and your pooch can try the 20 minute sightseeing tour of Seattle. Charter packages are also available. For trips to or from Canada, customs regulations apply. You can hop aboard their seaplanes at the Kenmore Air Harbor at 6321 N 175th Street in Kenmore, or at the Lake Union Terminal at 950 Westlake Avenue in Seattle.
