This 68 acre, fenced doggy play-park has large open fields, grassy areas, shaded sites, training enclosures, and restrooms. Dogs must be healthy, sociable, current on all vaccinations and license with tags on collar, and under their owner’s control at all times. Dogs must be leashed when not in designated off-lead areas. An annual or day permit is required. Self-pay stations can be found in the parking lot of each exercise area, and allows one day’s access to all four county dog parks. Annual permits can be obtained by phone, online, or in person at Libertyville or Lindenhurst. The park is open from 6:30 am until 6 pm – or until sunset, whichever is later. Maintenance takes place from 6:30 am until 11 am (April through October) on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month.
