Mariner's Museum

Located on 550 wooded acres on the shores of Lake Maury, this is one of the world’s largest international maritime history museums. Here visitors can also see a full-scale replica of the Civil War ironclad USS Monitor and they have an annual 5-week concert series each summer. Dogs are allowed throughout the park and on the trails,,, they are not allowed in buildings. Dogs must be under their owner’s control, leashed, and cleaned up after at all times.
