With the distinction of being the site of the longest battle of the American Revolution, it is now preserved as an 18th century rural setting with wooded areas, fields, orchards, and wetlands with miles and miles of trails, picnic areas, a restored farmhouse, and they are also host to various activities and events throughout the year, as well as an annual reenactment of the famous battle. Dogs are allowed throughout the park and on the trails. Dogs must be under their owner’s control, leashed, and cleaned up after at all times. They are not allowed in the buildings.
