Small dogs, in carriers only, are allowed on the Long Island Railroad, Long Island Bus, and New York City Transit buses and subways. The pet must not be able to protrude from the carrying case, nor occupy a seat, obstruct an isle, or be a bother to other passengers, and they must be able to be carried by their caretaker without assistance.
