Two self-guided tours are offered by the visitor center of this historic area and maps can be obtained at their office. Oak Park is central to numerous sites of interest, recreational, and educational activities, and well behaved pooches are allowed to take the walking tour as well,,, they are not allowed in buildings. Dogs must be under their owner’s control, leashed, and cleaned up after at all times.
