Perryville Battlefield State Historic Site

This battlefield has remained almost completely unchanged since the most destructive battle of the Civil War took place here in October 1862. There is a seven mile self-guided trail with more than 40 interpretive signs to explore. Every October is the annual commemorative and reenactment of the epic battle. Leashed dogs are allowed throughout the park,,, they are not allowed in buildings.
