This state park offers beaches and almost 11 miles of hiking trails. Popular activities at the park include surfing, swimming, boating, hiking, in-line skating, and bicycling. Dogs are allowed on a 6-foot or less leash at the park, on hiking trails, and only on beaches not guarded by lifeguard staff. Dogs can go into the water, still on leash, but people can only wade in up to their knees since there are no lifeguards in those areas. The unguarded beaches are located throughout the park, but please stop at the park office for details if you want to know the exact locations. The park is located four miles west of downtown Erie, off Route 832.
