Prospect Park, in Brooklyn, allows dogs in much of the park on leash has a number of large off-leash areas during specified hours. Dogs are allowed off-leash before 9 am and after 9 pm in the Long Meadow, Nethermead and the Peninsula Meadow areas of the park. Dogs are not allowed in the children’s playground or on the Bridle paths. Owners must clean up after their dogs. There’s even a man made dog beach in the park.
