Upper St Anthony Falls Lock and Dam

Traveling north of the falls on the Mississippi River became a reality after this lock and horseshoe shaped dam were built,,, the lock itself is 56 feet wide by 400 feet long with a 49 foot lift. There are plenty of green areas and trails to explore here as well. Dogs are allowed on all the byways,,, they are not allowed in buildings. Dogs must be leashed, cleaned up after, and under their owner’s control at all times.
