Located inside the historic 13-story Morton building in Grand Rapids, the Morton Hotel offers 25 modern residential accommodations for humans and pooches alike. Their goal is for guests not to have to kennel or leave their dogs at home on their Grand Rapids trip, instead offering a full-service hotel for two and four-legged guests alike. The Morton features an on-site pet play area, relief areas, and a dog washtub. Guestrooms range from studios to two-bedroom suites and include essentials like dog beds, dog food and water dishes, and waste bags. Full-sized kitchens with dishwashers, refrigerators, microwaves, and stoves as well as full washers and dryers are provided in every room.

All well-mannered dogs are welcome. Dog breeds of all sizes are welcome with limitations. The following breeds must provide an AKC Canine Good Citizen Certificate prior to arrival: Rottweiler, Pit Bulls (including, but not limited to, American Staffordshire Terriers, American Staffordshire Bull Terriers), Doberman Pinschers, German Shepherds, Malamutes, Husky, Akita, Chow, and hound dogs.
