This striking park is home to some of the most endangered habitats in Canada, to herds of free roaming bison, moose, elk, and deer. With 250 species of birds it is also a bird watcher’s paradise. The park offers a variety of year round recreational pursuits. Dogs of all sizes are allowed at no additional fee. Dogs may not be left unattended, and they must be leashed and cleaned up after. Pets and pet food must be brought in at night. Dogs are allowed on the trails on lead. This campground is closed during the off-season. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground.
