In addition to offering a rich cultural history, this forested park offers 217 acres for recreational use. Dogs of all sizes are allowed for no additional pet fee, and they must be declared at the time of reservation. All dogs must have proof of rabies inoculation, be on no more than a 10 foot leash or crated, and cleaned up after at all times. Dogs must be quiet, well behaved, and never left unattended. Dogs are not allowed in picnic areas or playgrounds,,, they are allowed on the trails and camping areas. The camp area has 51 sites and 10 lean-tos, restrooms, hot showers ($), a large open grassy field, and a dump station. This RV park is closed during the off-season. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
