The Ochoco and Deschutes Forests were combined creating 2.5 million acres of spectacular scenery, hundreds of miles of trails, diverse ecosystems and recreation. Dogs of all sizes are allowed at no additional fee. Dogs may not be left unattended, and they must be leashed and cleaned up after in camp areas. Dogs may be off lead in the forest on the trails if they will not chase wildlife and if they are under strict voice control. Dogs are not allowed in buildings. This campground is closed during the off-season. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campground.
