This large park, also a prime bird habitat, offers 2 swimming pools, a spa, 7 scenic lakes-stocked, a laundry with shower facilities, a clubhouse, watercraft rentals, 5 playgrounds including the Kiwanis Playground for children with disabilities, and miles of paved trails. Dogs of all sizes are allowed for an additional fee of $1 per night per pet. Dogs may not be left unattended outside, and they must be leashed and cleaned up after. Dogs are allowed ONLY on the pet walks around lakes 6 and 7 and in the campground. Dogs are not allowed in any of the day use areas. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground.
